Take a step back in time and learn the story of ‘Nat the Hatter’. Discover how hats were made, experience the noisy machinery floor and learn what it was like to be a hatters apprentice.

TREASURE FROM TRASH - FAMILY FUN DAY
Sunday 14 March
1pm - 3.30pm

Explore the science behind Hat Works and experiment with recycling. Build a recycled model of the museum and find out why woolly jumpers shrink in a hot wash. These are just some of the activities you can tackle in this fun National Science and Engineering Week event.

In April 2010 Hat Works, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. In honour of this landmark birthday, the museum is inviting amateur and professional milliners to take part in a new miniature hat competition.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND CELEBRATES HAT WORKS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

"Don't be late, for this very important date!"…Join in the birthday fun as Alice and her friends take you deeper inside the magical wonderland at Hat Works meet the characters, enjoy the music, songs and theatre shows and take part in the craft activities. With lots of other surprises in store.
